HIFU (High Intensity focused Ultrasound)
is a non-invasive device used as a non-surgical facelift, using ultrasound energy to tighten the saggy skin, promote collagen production, define the face contour and to reduce fat tissue beneath the skin in the face in order to achieve more a slender appearance. It is an effective treatment to tighten the neck and different parts of the body.

You cannot have any hair or lotions, creams or oils applied to the skin area to be treated. If needed, the area to be treated will be shaved and cleaned.
After cleaning the face, an ultrasound gel is applied on the treated area and HIFU session is performed by a specific depth of hand piece which is different from the one used on the body.
The session takes 40-60 minutes of time depending on the treated area.
During the treatment, some patients report mild discomfort, tingling or warmth.
To maximize your comfort, Topical Anaesthesia can be applied 20 minutes prior the treatment.
The following is among the expected side effects of HIFU
1. Discomfort and pain
Most patients experience minimal to moderate discomfort associated with a tingly and/or heat sensation.
2. Swelling
Usually swelling is minor, could last a few days.
3. Redness
It may occur and typically resolve within few hours.
There may be risks or side effects that are released by time and the benefits from HIFU procedure may differ from client to another.
This treatment cannot be performed for the following conditions:
• Pregnant ladies
•Breast feeding
•Adipose tissue thickness less than 1 cm beyond the treatment focal depth setting and hernia in the treated area.
